Calls for GFA ethics committee chairman's resignation

Chairman of referees association of Ghana (RAG),retired FIFA referee Alex Quartey,has called for the resignation of Ghana football association ethics committee chairman,Nana Adjei Ampofo.Speaking on an Accra radio station,Mr Quartey said "am surprised the chairman of the ethics committee of the GFA who owns Unity FC was sitting in the inner perimeter when the referee was attacked by those hooligans.He did not even ask the fans to stop.Neither did he go to the rescue of the referee.I think he should resign".

Class one referee Ali Alhassan from Tamale was attacked by fans and officials of Unity FC in a division one league game against Techiman City FC on Sunday.
