Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko invited his mother and two sisters for holidays in Turkey for the first time last week as they had the chance of watching him in a league match.
The powerful centre-back, who is in blistering form in the Turkish top-flight, took his family to watch him in their match against Elazspor.
Eskisehirspor won the match against Elazigspor which delighted the family of Akaminko who watched the centre-back excel in the match.
“I had the pleasure of hosting my mother and sisters in Turkey for the first time last week,” Akaminko said.
“It was such a good feeling to have my mother watch me in Turkey for the first time and the day was made perfect as we secured the three points in our game with Elazspor.
“The push for an Europa League finish is so tight that the win moved us up to fifth on the table.”
