Ghana international Andre Ayew has cut ties with his agent Etiene Mendy, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.
Mendy has represented the Ghana international for years, but Comsport - a Paris-based U.S. firm, which mostly represents basketball players namely Ian Mahinmi, Rodrigue Beaubois and Nicolas Batum - is likely to be his new agent.
Comsport also represents a few football players including Papy Djilobodji, Idrissa Gueye and Valentin Lavigne.
It is believed that the development could bring about a “strategic shift” in the camp of Ayew in the summer, although he has not expressed his desire to leave Olympique Marseille.
Recently Mathieu Valbuena and Steve Mandanda also parted ways with Mendy.
