Times Retracts B/A Story

Ghanaian Times, last saturday retracted a story which claimed the Executive Chairman of B/A United is under probe over a 600 million cedis miscellenous expenses, as well as a 200 million cedis being the tranfer fee of Bawa Mohammed a former player of the Club. The story also alleged that Mr. Osei-Bonsu, alias Zico, had been removed from office, whilst an Interim Management Committee has been set up to run the Club.

In retracting the said publication, Times did not give its reasons, but apologized to Mr. Osei-Bonsu and his Management for the embarrassment that the publication might have caused them.

It would be recalled that Mr.Osei-Bonsu's legal Counsel, OTTU ESSEL & ASSOCIATES wrote to Mr.Kingsley E. Hope of the Ghanaian Times, copied the Editor to retract the said publication which appeared in the Tuesday 14th January edition of the Ghanaian Times.
