Ghanaian midfielder Muniru Sulley made his league debut for Romanian champions Steaua Bucuresti on Saturday as they opened their title with a draw.
The 22-year-old seems to have sealed a permanent place in the team after playing the entire duration in the 0-0 draw with Petrolul Ploiesti.
Sulley, whose elder brother Sulley Muntari played for AC Milan, Inter Milan, Portsmouth and Sunderland but currently a free agent, is not new to the Romanian top-flight after helping CFR Cluj to finish third last season with 26 appearances.
Last Wednesday he was handed a starting role and played 74 minutes for Steaua Bucuresti as they lost 1-0 to Targu Mures in the Romanian Super Cup.
