Ahead of the Czech Republic's Euro 2004 qualifier with Holland tonight, Juventus playmaker Pavel Nedved says he believes team-mate Edgar Davids wants to stay with Juventus.
"Edgar is the man of the great matches," he said. "He never gives up. My impression is that he wants to stay and in the end they'll find an agreement.
He would give his best with Appiah: that would be a superb midfield. It's important that he wants to stay. I really hope that he doesn't play tonight: he would give us plenty of problems."
