I played for Olympics Babies and played against Abedi Pele who played for Falcons (Facos). We never beat them in the 2 years I played until I grew too tall to qualify. As an example Olabode won best player and goal king on one occasion whereas Abedi won it on at least 3 occasions. Abedi was the best midfielder and best player on the park even when they were losing to Ken Harrison Babies who were pretty good at the time. We had Ali Ibrahim and in general just about every colts team had at least one great player. Note that Olabode was older too so went to the pros earlier than Abedi but to say the players you listed were better is not true. Abedi was in midfield and controlled the game most of the time. He embarrassed our team and me everytime. Simply not in his class.

Pele stopped playing for Brazil after the 1970 World Cup. He however continued to play for New York Cosmos where Razak also played.Abedi never saw Pele play football unlike today that we see the Ronaldos and the Messis playing live.Pele was therefore only in his imagination. Of course, Pele and his team Santos of Brazil came to play Accra Hearts of Oak in a 2-2 drawn game in Accra in 1968 but l don't think Abedi was old enough by then to have seen him in action.Segun Odegbami and Philip Omondi are players he saw personally.

He mentioned colts, is this junior team existing? And he said he had a card to go to the stadium at anytime is that also working now? That was the man Acheampong who was killed and replaced by these crooks, thieves, incompetent who hate to hear that word, inefficient, corrupt and arrogant gangsters. I was a student in High school during Gen Kutu Acheampong ' s time and I can't imagine which time in my life was so cozing like his time. I got the opportunity of a bursary to finish with my High school, some got government scholarship and others too CMB Scholarship, I had nobody as a relative in that government but I was awarded by the school through education service and I doubt if this previlage is still around to help others. Gen. Kutu Acheampong built hotels all over the regional capitals with live bands just for weekend enjoyment but never touted his achievement to impose himself on us, he believed in One Nation, One People with One Destiny so thought of the Union Government which was shut down because some citizens thought he was trying to impose himself on us. I love and like Gen. Acheampong ' s government more than the P/NDC 1,2,3,4 the man was compassionate about the people of Ghana,he wanted every Ghanaian to have a good life hence all contracts were given to Ghanaians and masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and women became contractors and these artisans started having their own houses and could take care of their children. He built estate houses to cater for the housing needs of civil servants hence we had the High cost and Low cost houses. Dansoman was created by that man, Teshie Nungua estates was Gen. Acheampong,Adenta was his dream but couldn't finish. He had all these estates all over the 9 regional capitals of Ghana so people can have a place to put their heads. He didn't accept any help from outside so we had the money in our hands but no commodities to buy. Ghanaians started going outside to buy stuff and bring them in for consumption. The Zualugu meat factory was working and they produced the Volta corned beef in abundance, we had meat marketing board with cheap cost, we had food distribution company with low cost food stuff, fishing corporation etc. Nobody complained of money that time because most of the factories were working so the youth had no cause to complain about jobs. That was the man they killed because they were afraid of him,he had a support base at the military hence his enemies were within his own SMC who made the palace coup. No body, nobody outside could have overthrown him if not by his own people who asked him to resign by
force. NDC have destroyed our country instead of taking us from the Gen. Acheampong good time to a better time look at how the country looks like now? Air ticket during Acheampong ' s time was GHc40.00 how much now? But that man is dead and John mahama the thief is walking with shoulder high like a gorilla. I WEEP FOR THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY UNDER NDC. THAT'S WHY I HATE NDC.

Go into the archives of history and check the records, Osei could turn certain defeat into victory, no player in our history could do that.

Traditional Satanism is not simply an inversion, but a complete rejection of the images of a
0244908520particular culture, religion, or philosophy. From there a Satanist uses those images against the ethos itself, that was once his own conditioning. Persons who participate in traditional Satanic masses sometimes experience a king of 'sartori', a sudden enlightenment, to an increase in their own consciousness, and feeling stronger and satisfied because they had broken with the constraining opposites. In other words, at its highest level Satanism uncovers what the ethos of a particular community or society has covered up through images, dogma, words and ideas, returning the individual to the primal chaos out of which 'opposites' were created." ~ Magister Hagur, Temple of Atazoth Office

To me the legendary Rev. Osei Kofi is the best Ghanaian footballer ever,he was not selfish player like Abedi.Abedi wouldn't even pass the ball to Yeboah.Osei Kofi made all his team mates better. There was story told by skipper Odame formerly of Asnte Kotoko that somewhere in 1968/69 before the Bulldozer- Skipper Wilberforce Mfum left to the US and during one of their matches with either Engelbeth or other Congolese team,Mfum connived with Osei kofi if he Mfum rough tackles a defender on the conglese side who was a torn of flesh on Osei Kofi, could he Osei Kofi score goals.Osei Kofi assured Mfum, and Mfum stepped on the foot of the Congolese defender which resulted in a fist fight and the two players were shown the yellow card.Osei Kofi quickly scored 2 goals which enabled Kotoko to beat the Congolese side 2 to 1.There was also a story when Kotoko played the Lagos Stationery Stores in Africa Cup in Lagos,Osei Kofi dribbled all the defeners plus the goalkeeper and when osei Kofi went to the goal net to retrieve the ball, the goalkeeper met him at the goal line with hectic blows.Osei Kofi played with wit and wisdom. He was delight to watch.I watched his retiring game with Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports stadium in 1975.To me the best Ghanaian footballers of all time are Osei Kofi,Addo Odametey,Jones Attoquifio,Robert Mensah,Sunday,Razak,Polo,Aggrey Fynn,Adolf Armah,Willie Evans,Agyemam Gyau,Mfum, kwasi Owusu,Abrey and Bannerman period. These people are enshrined in my hall of fame.

In the 60's to 70's i have watched all the players you have mentioned displaying huge talents
rev, Osei Kofi for instance, especially Hearts vs Kotoko or Kotoko vs Olympics. Osei Kofi could run through the defense by meandering through with ease. He can trick the defenders by leaving the ball behind as such they will chase his shadow. Suddenly he comes back to pick up the ball as if all his opponent players are day dreaming. He then takes to a different direction to lay down a pass for Mfum to score. His foot works and body swerves, ball control and ball juggling i have never seen this skills in this modern world before.
Ghana vs Nigeria.
Rev Osei Kofi can dribble them with his foot works body swerves to lay down passes for Kwasi Owusu as many goals as he could.Nigerian fans labelled him one man symphony orchestra, the man with four legs [According the the Nigerian fans they think Osei Kofi had 2 invisible legs in addition to the original 2 legs]
Kotoko vs Stoke city
Rev Osei Kofi scored world best goal keeper both home and away.Which means Osei Kofi was already ripped as a world class player.Stoke City wanted to buy him but things did not work out well. You just imagine in the 60's with this huge talent. Definitely the best player of all time. There were some huge talents i would like to mention, Amusa Gbadamoshie, Christian Madus, Joe Sam, Kuuku Dadzie, Cecil Jones, Aggrey Fynn, Baba Yara, Mohammed Polo, Golden Boy Abdul Razak, Adolf Armah, Kwasi Owusu, Dan Owusu, Robert Mensah[Best of all times] Kofi Badu, Asase Jay, Essuman, Kyenkyenhene, Mohammed Choo, John Essien[Zion train], Robert Konduah, Kofi Abbrey, Joe Carr, Kingston Asabir, Robert Hammond, Mama Acquah, Agyemang prempeh,Ibrahim Sumday,J.K.
