Amoah Inks 2-year Vitesse extension

According to Dutch TV station 'NOS', Vitesse have persuaded their gifted striker Mathew Amoah to ink a new contract extension. The Ghana international's contract that was due to expire at the end of this season but he will now be adding an additional 2 year to his stay in Arnhem.

Vitesse have not had much joy from their club-top scorer from last season (15 goals). Amoah has been out of action since September after sustaining a knee injury during Vitesse's match against RBC after which an operation was necessary to remove a bone splinter.

Vitesse are hoping to Amoah will be fit in time for reopening of the second half of the season.
