Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has cast doubt on Ghana’s chances of qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Black Stars are on the verge of missing out qualification to the global competition having appeared in the last three editions.
Ghana fluffed their chances of qualifying after drawing goalless with Uganda and also losing 2-0 to Egypt.
The 2010 World Cup quarterfinalist will need to win their remaining four matches and rely on other results to qualify for the World Cup.
Gyan believes it will be difficult for his side to make it to Russia 2018.
“For now is going to be though, we find ourselves in a difficult possible, we need to be frank to ourselves,” he said.
“If we really need to qualify we have to win our remaining four matches and that will be difficult.”
The Black Stars will next play Congo in the World Cup qualifiers.
The four-time Africa Champions lie third in Group D with just a point after two matches.
