It was a good 90 minutes of work out for Kwadwo Asamoah who returned to the Juventus starting line-up against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Italian giants won 2-0 courtesy of second half goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani as they finished top of Group H with 14 points.
Asamoah last saw action when he started for the Old Lady in a 3-0 victory against Pescara in Serie A on November 19.
He was recalled by coach Massimiliano Allegri for Wednesday’s game even though Juventus had already secured their passage into the round of 16 ahead of Sevilla.
It is curious why Allegri has not found the midfielder useful since he returned from injury and played the entire match against Pescara.
The 27-year-old would hope to get all the action he can to put him in quality shape for a potential Ghana call up for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, which the Black Stars see as an opportunity to end a 34-year-long trophy drought.
