Aduana Stars midfielder Zakaria Mumuni is excited with his personal form in the first round of the season but has promised to improve on his statistics when the second round kicks off in two week time.
The former WAFA attacking midfielder has been so instrumental in the set up for the Ogya Boys with two goals from the middle of the pitch.
The intelligent pass master enjoyed a spectacular first half of the season that saw his side trailing the all conquering WAFA by just three points after 15 rounds of matches.
The Nana Agyemang Badu II park based midfielder however pledged to improve on his numbers when the second half of the campaign resumes in two weeks time.
” I am currently enjoying my football and that is very important to every single footballer. Once you have the love for the game and begin to love the game then your form is surely going to improve and that is why I am playing like this.
” I am going to review the areas of my game that need improvement so that in the second round of the season , supporters and coaches alike will see a different Zakaria Mumuni.
“I am not duty bound to be scoring goals but when I find the back of the net it makes me extremely happy and I will like to score more goals if that will win us points and the league trophy”, Zakaria Mumuni told Sports Crusader.
The former West African Football Academy Soccer Club versatile midfielder has been hailed as one the revelation in the opening half of the season.
He is expected to lead the Dormaa based side to their second trophy since 2009.
