Swedish champions Malmo FF have indefinitely suspended Ghana international Kingsley Sarfo following his arrest on Tuesday over fresh rape charges involving two girls below the ages of 15.
The Ghana international was apprehended on Tuesday by Police in Malmo after Richard Darell who is the persecutor handling the case called for his re-arrest on new charges after granting him bail less than a month ago.
Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal Malmo FF Chairman, Hakan Jeppson has asked the player to be suspended from the team for an unlimited time and he will receive no salaries.
Currently, the 23-year-old playmaker is behind bars as the persecutor continues with his investigations.
If Sarfo is found guilty, he could spend a minimum of five years in jail in Sweden after which he will be deported.
