Riley Davis Richmond, a member of Project Abroad volunteers from USA has donated 12 Mattresses and 12 pillows to some of Ali Royal Surf & Soccer Foundation underprivileged boys and girls at Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana..
“It’s a surprises to these boys and girls because this is their first time would be sleeping on Mattresses and pillows. So please, let's behind us to say a very BIG thanks to Mr.Riley Davis Richmond of USA” said Ali Yakubu, Founder of Ali Royals Foundation who received the items.
In an exclusive interview, he disclosed thatthere are many talented children who are suffering because they have been deprived off many basic amenities in life.
According to Ali Yakubu who is a licensed football coach, he loves supporting kids, and has adopted many children whom he is grooming to become future sportsmen and women because they are skillful and needs help.
He commended Mr. Riley Davis Richmond for his donation and pleaded with other NGOs and benevolent bodies to come to the aid of the children.
Ali Yakubu, who has been a football coach and scout for Aspire Dreams and other international sports organisations said it is sad that Ghana Football has come to a standstill and called of the government to find solutions as quickly as possible as many footballers are starving with no competition. no league and even no friendly matches.
He also called on agencies that have children at heart to come to the aid of Ali Royals Foundation as they support children who wish to do sports.
Ali Royals is a registered entity that supports children in football, swimming and surfing.
He commended the Ghanaian team at the African Youth Championship in Algeria for their wonderful performance that has seen Ghana winnng some medals.
“You know, Ghana is a blessed nation, we have the talent and the skill, what we need is a little push and we can be the best in football, swimming and surfing” he expressed.
