Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has been named in a Ghana squad for the first time in four years.
Asamoah has been included in a 21-man squad for next month's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
The 29-year-old has been in self-imposed exile after recurring injuries hampered his career.
He has now regained full fitness and put up an impressive performance for Inter on Sunday in their Serie A opener.
Asamoah is expected to bring his experience on board as the Black Stars seek a second consecutive win in the qualifiers.
Ghana made a bright start by thumping Ethiopia 5-0 at home.
