Abura Odonase (C/R) Nov.11 GNA - Schalke 04, Zone 2B Division One League leaders maintained their grip on the league table with 20 points when they beat beat Tarkwa United 1-0 in their league match played at Odonase on Wednesday.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 55th minute by their top striker, Paul Appiah.
Appiah after receiving a midfield pass, rounded up two defenders before firing a close range shot to the blind side of the United goal keeper.
United from then on took over control of affairs and made several efforts to equalise but try as they did they could not find the net till the of the match.
