Felix Annan, the first choice goalkeeper of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has said, the 2018/19 Confederation Cup test, remains a huge task, but they are optimistic of making it to the money zone.
The top shot-stopper, would be in post for Asante Kotoko, when they lock horns, with the Kariobangi Sharks of Kenya on Saturday, December, 15, in what promises to be a feisty duel at the Kenyatta Stadium.
According to the Black Stars goalkeeper, the hopes of Ghana in Africa, lies in their shoulders, as they are poised for the upcoming challenge.
"The target set is very high and we are aware of the expectation of Ghanaians, especially with no football activity over the past months.
"We know the task is very huge, but we are prepared and hopefully we can make another history for the club, by making it into the money zone of the Confederations Cup", Annan told GNA Sports after their 3-0 victory against Black Meteors on Sunday.
Annan who had an impressive outing yesterday, also mentioned the telepathy between the old and new players which has made the team very compact.
"We have played a couple of preparatory matches ahead of the encounter with the old and new players gelling very well and we know each other better now despite the limited time," Annan said.
The Porcupine Warriors are expected to depart to Kenya on Wednesday.
