Cape Coast, March 2, GNA - Kade Hotspurs brightened their chance of qualifying for the Premier division when they spanked King Solomon, 3-0 in their Middle League match at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium in Cape Coast on Wednesday.
After class one referee, Ebenezer Ferguson signalled the two sides into action, it was Hotspurs who showed their determination to carry the day by dominating the first half and it came as a matter of course when they scored the opener in the 18th minute through their mid-fielder, Seth Yeboah.
They continued to dictate the pace of the game and in the 54th minute they raised the tally to 2-0 through outside right, Attipoe Salasi with a beautiful header.
King Solomon, sensing danger made frantic efforts to score but their hopes of drawing level were shattered when Hotspurs, Salasi was on hand to increase the scores to 3-0 in the dying minutes of the game.
