David Ducan, head coach of Ghanaian Under 17 team, has expressed his resolve to reclaim the African Under 17 title against The Gambia this Sunday. Ghana has failed to qualify to the last two editions of the African Under 17 championship after winning it twice. They beat scorpions 1-0 in a fast and furious encounter in the group stage.
Speaking to a score of journalists shortly after their 2-0 beating against Cote d?Ivoire, an apparently devoted christian attributed their victory to the work of Jesus Christ. He said the starlets approach every team according to their strength of openness. ?We fancy every match with victory. We play just like in any other game. We will make sure that we continue to stick to the task.?
According to him, Ivoirians developed arrogance after slipping away from the hands of South Africa. ?They can match against other teams, but not Ghana. We are no match for them. We have dominated every department of the match. And we have won the game.?
