Mohammed Anas on target in Maritzburg defeat at Polokwane

Ghana striker Mohammed Anas was on target for Maritzburg United in the 2-1 away defeat at Polokwane City in the South African Absa Premier League on Saturday.

The 20-year-old found the back of the net in the 72nd minute to cancel out Alexander Cole’s 37th-minute goal, but Polokwane City fought back to score the match-winner through Puleng Tlolane in the 85th minute.

Mohammed Anas, who was in action for Maritzburg alongside fellow Ghana defender John Paintsil, has now scored his 5th goal in the 17 week old PSL.
