Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman made a return from injury but it was a night to forget for the former Augsburg man.
The 25-year-old put a dodgy display as he failed to provide the defensive cover for all three goals conceded by his side who have now suffered elimination from the Spanish Copa del Rey.
Rahman, a Chelsea loanee, was introduced into the line up in the place of his Ghanaian compatriot Lumor Agbenyenu.
He lasted the entire period of the game but provided a little solution to the defensive problems of his side on the night as he woefully failed to deal with Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa who tormented him all night.
The first goal of the match came through his angle on 21-year-old Spanish player Alejandro Blanco made lightworks of him inside the area before turning the ball home.
His lack of pace and speed cost his side the second goal as he failed to track back and defend with Zaragoza grabbing the second goal of the match through his position.
He has played just two La Liga matches this season.
