Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey is set to leave Bundesliga side Schalke O4 in the summer transfer window, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The 22-year-old joined Fortuna Düsseldorf last summer but has failed to hit the ground running, hence the Fligeraners are expected to cut his loan stint short.
Since making that two-year loan switch, his form has not been at the same level as it was last season. He has struggled for consistency and has spent most of the campaign on the bench.
He has made only nine appearances for Fortuna Düsseldorf and provided only one assist this term.
Despite his poor run of form, he has been linked with a move to FC Nuremberg who have expressed their readiness to sign him on a permanent basis.
According to reports in Germany, Schalke O4 are willing to sell the Ghanaian for a decent fee in the upcoming summer transfer window.
