German defender of Ghanaian descent Jerome Boateng has challenged his critics to face Lionel Messi to see if they will survive after the Barcelona star savagely dribbled past him.
The Bayern Munich defender has been answering why he was dribbled past by Messi in 2015 which has still got fans talking five years after the amazing dribble by the Argentine.
Boateng was answering a question from a fan who wants to know what the German defender was thinking when Messi dribbled past him in the 2015 Champions League semi-finals during a Twitter Q & A.
"What was going through your head when Messi did THAT to you? You know what I’m talking about," the fan asked.
"Honestly I would love to see each one of you defending against Messi," Boateng answered.
