Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek have reignited their interest in signing Ghanaian forward John Antwi in the winter transfer window.
John Antwi, currently the foreign player with the most goals in the North African country has attracted interest in several clubs including the White Knights, who early inquired about him during the summer transfer window.
According to reports in Egypt, Zamalek are ready to sell Mohammed Ramadan and Mohammed Hassan to finance the transfer of the former Al Ahli forward.
Misr El Mikasa, Antwi's current club have been adamant in allowing any club poach their first choice forward.
However, with Zamalek ready to meet the demands of the club as well as his former side Al Ahly, who will earn $ 500,000 from the transfer, Mikasa are likely to let the 26 year old leave.
Zamalek coach Christian Gross is reported to be a big admirer of the prolific forward and sees him as the key to his sides goal scoring puzzle.
