Phoenix Rising captain Solomon Asante has finished the regular season as the top goal scorer and assists king in the 2019 USL Championship.
The diminutive Ghanaian attacker bagged 22 goals while providing a record breaking 17 assists to lead Rising to an historic campaign.
The 29 year old also recently swooped four awards at the club’s gala night where he was crowned the Most Valuable Player and Player’s Player of the season.
Asante will be looking to carry his hot streak into the playoffs where he is expected to help the club gain promotion to the MLS next season.
