Ghana full-back Andy Yiadom was the star of the English Championship fixture between Reading and Hull City as his outstanding performance spurred the former to 3-0 home triumph.
The 26-year-old contributed a goal and an assist to help The Royals secure all three points at Madejski Stadium.
The strike was his first for the club following a summer transfer from Barnsley.
Sam Baldock opened the scoring for Reading in just the fourth minute before Yiadom set up Jon Dadi Bodvarsson for the second in the 70th minute.
Eleven minutes later, the Ghanaian turned finisher, his shot finding the bottom corner of goal to make it 3-0 to the hosts.
But it was not all joy for Reading as John O'Shea received a straight red card for a professional foul seven minutes to full-time.
The match result has taken Paul Clement's outfit out of the relegation zone to the 20th position.
Yiadom has started all nine of Reading's Championship games so far this season.
The English-born, who joined the club in a five-year deal, has also had spells with lower tier sides Braintree Town and Hayes and Yeading FC.
