Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie showed class in his side’s 4-0 win over Dutch side Heerenveen as they wrapped up their pre-season preparations.
Two first half goals from the Veloso brother, Miguel and Ancora were topped up by Simeone and Quattro in the second half to finish The Super Frisians.
The Ghanaian midfielder was at his usual best as his side saw off the Eredivise side in what promised to be a tough encounter before the half hour mark.
The win was the third in succession for Genoa who have kept a clean sheet in all their pre-season games, scoring 13 in the process.
Genoa will clash with Cesena on Sunday in the Copa Italia clash before commencing the Serie A season with a visit to Sassuolo.
