Ghana and Gor Mahia star Jackson Owusu has denied reports that he was left stranded in a hotel in Kenya.
Reports went rife last week that, Owusu was trapped in a hotel in Nairobi over his unpaid bills which skyrocketed to Sh600,000 (GH? 32,000).
However, speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh FM, the 31-year-old said there is no iota of truth in the news that he is stranded.
"There is no truth in the news circulated that I have being detained by any hotel not to move out, I move freely from my hotel to other places,' he said.
"No iota of truth in anything. I can't best tell whether my team Gor Mahia is owing the hotel, I don't know the arrangement between the two parties.
"My Mum in Ghana upon hearing this wouldn't be happy at all, she will be disturbed."
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder joined the 18-time league champions during the January transfer window.
