Ghana striker Joe Dodoo fired a goal for Charlton Athletic in their 3-2 win over Fulham U23 side in the Checkatrade Trophy at the Valley Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Dodoo joined the Addicks on loan from Scottish giants Rangers FC at the start of the English League One campaign and quickly hit the ground running with a goal on his debut.
The 22-year-old has found game time difficult to come by in the league and has spent their last three games an unused substitute.
But Dodoo was given a match time in the Checkatrade Trophy on Wednesday and he repaid the faith shown in him by coach Karl Robinson with a goal in the 89th minute when Charlton were down by 2-1 before Joe Aribo hit the winner for the side in the 93rd minute.
