Ghana striker John Antwi returns from suspension to grab the winner for El-Makkasa SC in their 2-1 victory over Arab Contractors on Wednesday.
The Ghana international missed the opening day defeat to Smouha last week following suspension but returned with a bang to score what eventually was the winning goal at the Arab Contractors’ Stadium.
Antwi scored in the 67th minute to hand Makkasa the lead after Rajab Omran had equalized for the visitors three minutes earlier.
The former Al Ahly striker continued from where he left off last season after finishing the season with 16 goals, two behind eventual golden boot winner Walid Azarou.
John Antwi signed a three-year contract with the side earlier this year to make his loan move permanent.
He previously played for Ismaily and Al Shabab.
