Swedish based Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo scored on his debut for Malmo FF in their 3-3 stalemate against his former side Sirius IK in the Swedish top flight league at the Swedbank Stadion on Saturday.
The Swedish giants opened the scoring in the 6th minute courtesy striker Jo Inge Berget with a low shot.
Berget scored his second of the afternoon with five minutes before the break as Malmo looked to have wrapped up the game from there on.
However, Jesper Arvidsson pulled one back for the visitors in the 66th minute but Sarfo restored Malmo’s two-goal lead just three minutes later from a defensive mishap.
Stefano Vecchia reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute before Philip Haglund sealed a memorable comeback in the 90th minute with a thumping header.
Sarfo was handed a debut Black Stars call-up by coach Kwesi Appiah for last month’s 2019 Africa Cup Nation qualifier but he turned down the opportunity by opting to represent Sweden ahead of Ghana.
