Black Stars "B" head coach, Maxwell Konadu has predicted for Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars ahead of their Africa campaign.
The Premier League champions, Aduana Stars will face Al Tahaddy of Libya in their CAF Champions League campaign on Sunday in Egypt whiles FA Cup champions, Asante Kotoko welcomes CARA Club of Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in the CAF Confederations Cup competition.
And according to the former Wa All-Stars coach, both clubs failed to get high profiled matches in their preseasons and believes it will affect their performance in the campaign.
“To some extent I agree with those who assert that failure to play league matches would affect our teams especially for match fitness and did the team play any top-notch friendly in place of the league because looking at what’s happening to our league, you can’t rely on it but also, I can’t tell whether they are prepared or not,” he told Oyerepa FM.
