Paintsil signs for one season with Hapoel

Footy-Ghana can confirm John Paintsil is officially a Hapoel Tel-Aviv player after signing to a contract for the next season with an option for another season on Sunday evening.

The 31-year-old right back passed the club’s medical tests and has been cleared to begin training with his new team-mates after familiarizing with them and the team staff earlier in the day.

Paintsil earlier arrived in Israel on Sunday morning where he was received by club members and a limited number of fans.
