Ghana international Thomas Partey played the entire duration for Atletico Madrid in their 3-0 win over Mubarak Wakaso's- who was replaced at half-time-Deportivo Alaves on Saturday in the Spanish La Liga.
Partey was named in four-man midfield alongside Rodrigo, Andre Correa and Thomas Lemar.
Wakaso-who recently returned from injury-played on the left side of three-man midfield together with Tomas Pina and Manu Garcia
Los Rojiblancos were too strong for their opponent with goals from Nikola Kalinic, Antoine Griezmann and Rodrigo Hernandez.
Partey and his Atletico teammates have seen many goals at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano this season and not one defeat.
Their record at home this term is now 10 wins and two draws, with 26 goals having been scored.
