Ghana international Thomas Partey was on the score sheet for the first time this season as Atletico Madrid put four goals past a sorry looking Las Palmas.
The Ghanaian stepped off the bench to score the fourth goal for his side in what was a stroll in the Park for Madrid's second team.
It was a disappointing outing for Kevin Prince Boateng who was sent off late on for his second bookable offense.
Kevin Gameiro opened the scoring on the second minute to ease the tension of the travelling fans.
Spain international Saul Niguez added a second 12 minutes later before tow became three thanks a Gameiro second.
Ghanaian Thomas Partey scored the fourth and there was still time Fenando Torres to record his name on the score sheet for the fifth goal of the game.
