Sassuolo are planning a January swoop for Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah from Parma, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.
The 22-year-old has struggled this season in the fold of the Gialloblu but his manager Roberto Donadoni has emphasised that he is not a finished product yet.
Sassuolo manager Francesco De Eusebio is looking forward to reinforce his midfield in the winter after Yussif Chibsah Raman failed to impress this season and has set his eyes on Acquah.
The Modena-based side were close in landing the Ghana international before he joined Parma but the deal fell through.
