Ex-Marseille president Pape Diouf claims Manchester United could break the €100m barrier to sign Swansea red-hot midfielder Andre Ayew next season.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a blistering start to life at the high-flying club, sticking out of the block in the early stages in his debut season.

The Ghana international has impressed heavily with an impressive scoring rate of three goals in four matches for the Swans, prompting talks stellar clubs will be chasing for his signature next season.

Ayew was voted man-of-the-match for Swansea as he single-handedly delivered the killer blow to United in their 2-1 triumph at the Liberty stadium last Sunday.

And former Marseille chief Pape Diouf expects Swansea to make a €100 million profit on the Ghanaian super star.

“Last Sunday, little Andre Ayew beat Manchester United practically all by himself,” Diouf is quoted by RMC. “And I see that this same Manchester club

have bought a young 19-year-old from Monaco [Anthony Martial] for almost €80m.

“Maybe next year, if he continues to play like he is playing, Ayew will be bought for €100m by Manchester United.

“Ayew left Marseille for zero euro. I looked after him, I was his tutor, he was part of the family and he leaves us like that for zero euro, when Martial is worth €80m.

“That’s the demonstration of what’s happening these days at Marseille.”

United completed a shocking £36m signing of French teenager Anthony Martial on the final day of the transfer window and the former Marseille boss believes Andre will cost United a much higher fee.
