Sampson Ahinakwah has donated tennis equipments to the Tennis Foundation Ghana
Sampson Ahinakwah, a former national tennis star has donated assorted tennis equipments to the Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) as his contribution towards TFGs efforts in reviving the sport in the Country.
The donation items included tennis bags, balls and racquets.
Receiving the donation in New Jersey, USA (current home of Mr. Ahinakwah), Roger Crawford the President of Tennis Foundation Ghana expressed his sincerest gratitude for the gesture.
Mr. Crawford recalled how Mr. Ahinakwah has always been a gentleman even as a youngster. He reiterated the call to all former tennis players currently in Europe and the US to support the Foundation in its efforts to help the Ghana Tennis Federation.
Mr. Crawford added that, the Federation has created conducive atmosphere for anyone who wants to help to come and join forces with them and used the occasion to invite individuals and corporate bodies interested in supporting the upcoming ITF Junior World Tour event scheduled from August 24th to September 1st, 2018 at the Accra Sports Stadium tennis Courts.
