JE-HOPE Engages UCC Management on Network, Wi-Fi, Accommodation, and Timetable Challenges

Demonstrating proactive leadership and a commitment to student welfare, Master Jehoshaphat Inkoom, Founder of Scholar Connect, led his team in a high-level engagement with the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Management on March 3, 2025. The discussions centered on critical student concerns, including Wi-Fi connectivity, poor network, accommodation challenges, and timetable efficiency. This meeting followed the submission of a well-researched proposal highlighting these pressing issues.

The team first engaged Dr. Atta Yeboah Sarpong, Director of Academic Affairs, advocating for the implementation of an electronic timetable system to enhance accessibility and minimize scheduling conflicts. The discussions then extended to Mr. Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye (Esq.), the Registrar, where the focus was on both timetable reforms and the urgent accommodation challenges affecting students.

Pushing the agenda further, Team JE-HOPE* proceeded to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, where they engaged in extensive deliberations on network and internet connectivity improvements across campus and halls of residence.

UCC Management acknowledged these concerns and assured the team of swift and strategic interventions to address them. In response, Team JE-HOPE expressed appreciation to the university leadership for their commitment to fostering a more student-friendly academic environment.

This engagement underscores Team JE-HOPE’s dedication to practical, solution-driven leadership, reinforcing their unwavering commitment to enhancing student experience, academic excellence, and campus development at UCC.
