Man on the run after abusing his two children

A manhunt has been initiated by the Lagos State Police Command in search of Kadiri Yusuf, popularly known as Alado, 48, who is suspected of severely abusing two of his children.

According to reports, Lagos State's Orile Agege neighborhood is where this incident occurred. Based on the available information, Yusuf is accused of causing serious physical harm to his two children, ages eleven and thirteen.

The incident was discovered when the head teacher of a primary school reported it to the police. The teacher informed the authorities of the children's situation because she was clearly incensed by the suspect's actions.

The head teacher discovered that one of her students had severe wounds all over her body shortly after 7 am on Friday, October 18, according to the agency.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident's details. As observed by Hundeyin, "The teacher further stated that the young girl, who was approximately eleven years old, confided in her about how her father, one Kadiri Yusuf alias Alado, used to beat them.

He continued, "The young girl also revealed to her teacher that her father had physically assaulted her older brother, who was also estimated to be 13 years old.

Thankfully, the victims were found and given medical attention, their sister is now taking good care of them. But before the police could arrive, the suspect left his house, and they are currently working to find him.
