Despite Donates GH¢100,000 to Daddy Lumba’s Family After Musician’s Death

Business magnate Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has disclosed that he donated GH¢100,000 to the family of the late Daddy Lumba following the legendary musician’s death.

Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Pratt, Despite explained that the donation was meant to support the family during the difficult period, particularly with preparations for the one-week observance and other domestic needs.

“Mourners would be trooping to their homes to commiserate with them,” he said, noting that the funds were intended to ease the burden on the bereaved family.

Despite’s gesture comes amid public discussions and controversy surrounding the late musician’s family affairs. He emphasized that his actions were purely out of respect for Daddy Lumba and the deep bond they shared over the years.
