Four-Day Gomoa Easter Carnival Ends in Spectacular Cultural Display

The 2026 edition of the Gomoa Easter Carnival has concluded on a high note, delivering an unforgettable showcase of tradition, colour, and community spirit. Over four days, the vibrant celebration transformed the Gomoa area into a hub of cultural expression, drawing large crowds from across the region and beyond.

Organized under the leadership of Member of Parliament Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, the festival ran from April 2 to April 5. It attracted a diverse mix of visitors, including tourists, creatives, and key figures in the entertainment industry, all eager to experience the unique cultural offerings.

Throughout the event, attendees were immersed in a rich blend of traditional music, energetic dance performances, and striking displays of heritage. Participants proudly donned colourful attire that reflected the deep-rooted customs of the Gomoa people, adding to the visual spectacle that defined the celebration.

The final day brought the festivities to a thrilling close, marked by high-energy performances and a powerful sense of unity among patrons. Many described the grand finale as both electrifying and memorable, highlighting the carnival’s growing reputation as a major cultural event.
