Two men who staged a robbery at Agbazo in the Greater Accra Region have each received 17-year prison terms from the Amasaman Circuit Court.
The offenders — 28-year-old Lawrence Fumato (Rasta) and 20-year-old Daniel Dzoka (Alkaline) — pleaded guilty to conspiracy and robbery, offences under Ghana’s Criminal Offences Act (Act 29).
Police reports show that on November 12, 2025, the duo used a pair of scissors to threaten their victims before stealing a motorbike, three mobile phones, and GH¢4,000.
They were arrested five days later following a targeted intelligence operation in the community.
Superintendent Juliana Obeng commended residents for their support and encouraged the public to keep reporting crime via 18555 or 191.
