Edem and His Band Ignite Afro Brazil Ghana Festival 2025 as Big Twins Deliver Electrifying Cultural Showcase

It was a night of rhythm, energy, and cultural pride as Edem and his full band delivered a commanding live performance at the Afro Brazil Ghana Festival 2025, with Big Twins Africa Music & Dance Ensemble matching the intensity with a vibrant display of music and dance that captivated audiences at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

Held from December 12–13, 2025, in Accra, the Afro Brazil Ghana Festival once again proved its growing influence as a cultural and artistic bridge between Ghana and Brazil. The grand concert segment reached its peak when Edem took the stage alongside his band, delivering a high-energy set that fused hiplife, afrobeat, and traditional Ghanaian sounds.

Backed by a dynamic group of musicians and performers, Edem’s performance stood out as one of the defining highlights of the festival. The synergy between the artist and his band created an immersive experience, drawing loud cheers from both local and international attendees.

Equally captivating was the performance by Big Twins Africa Music & Dance Ensemble, whose set celebrated African heritage through synchronized drumming, dance, and theatrical expression. Their act reinforced the festival’s mission of showcasing deep-rooted cultural connections between Africa and its diaspora.

Following the performance, in an interview with Edem and the band, Richard Hude, Road Manager and Percussionist, said:

The 2025 edition of the festival, supported by key institutions including the Embassy of Brazil in Ghana and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, continued to position itself as a major cultural and tourism event. With performances from artistes such as Wiyaala, Amandzeba, Epixode, Fancy Gadam, Black Rasta, Aline Cruz, and Byno Ayoni, the event delivered a rich blend of highlife, reggae, afrobeat, and Afro-Brazilian rhythms.

Beyond entertainment, the festival reinforced its role as a platform for cultural diplomacy and economic opportunity, setting a strong foundation for future editions and the expansion into the Afro Brazil Ghana Business Forum.
