Mahama Shows Concern for Badu Kobi as Presidential Team Visits Hospital After Collapse Report

President John Dramani Mahama has expressed concern over the reported health condition of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, founder and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International.

The President has consequently dispatched a government delegation to visit the popular preacher and establish his condition following reports that he had collapsed and was subsequently admitted to a private health facility.

The delegation was led by Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah.

He was accompanied by Prophet Akwasi Agyemang Prempeh, National Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, and Madam Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo, Technical Adviser to Government Communications.

The team visited Prophet Badu Kobi on behalf of President Mahama to convey his goodwill and personal concern amid growing public attention surrounding the preacher's health.

Reports of the prophet's condition gained traction after videos and claims circulated on social media suggesting that he had been taken to a private hospital after reportedly collapsing.

Although the reports have generated considerable concern among his followers and members of the wider Christian community, there has been no detailed official statement on the specific nature of his condition.

The visit by the presidential delegation is therefore seen as a gesture of support and solidarity from the government at a time when concerns about the preacher's health continue to spread.

According to information surrounding the visit, the delegation wished Prophet Badu Kobi a speedy recovery and assured him of the President's goodwill.

Prophet Badu Kobi is a well-known figure in Ghana's Christian community and has, over the years, built a significant following through his ministry at Glorious Wave Church International.
