NDC launches New Platform To Ensure Inclusive National Elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), the incumbent governing party, has introduced a comprehensive platform designed to facilitate transparent, equitable, and participatory national elections scheduled for the upcoming weekend.

During a press briefing held at the Rawlings House, Godwin Ako Gunn, Deputy Communication Officer of the party, articulated that this initiative will furnish essential information and logistical arrangements necessary for the efficient administration of the electoral process.

According to Gunn's statement, the platform has been developed to foster meaningful engagement with all party members and constituents throughout the nation.

Hon. Gunn emphasized that numerous constituents have expressed their desire for parliamentary candidates and national leadership to conduct campaign visits within their respective constituencies.

He further clarified that given the limited timeframe preceding the elections, it remains impractical for all candidates to undertake personal campaign visits to every constituency.

Consequently, the platform will serve as a vital mechanism enabling constituents to become acquainted with candidates vying for various positions and to evaluate their qualifications and platforms.

Mr. Ako Gunn announced that the party's General Secretary will convene a meeting the following day to brief members regarding the procedural arrangements for the forthcoming electoral event.

He additionally indicated that a subsequent press conference will be conducted the following day, extending an invitation to both party members and media representatives to attend the comprehensive briefing.
