The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in the North Tongu District on Wednesday, 18th December, hosted a team of validators from the YEA Head Office as part of an exercise to validate beneficiaries across the district.
The validation exercise covered a total of 26 beneficiaries, made up of 16 Community Model for Revenue (CMFR) beneficiaries and 10 Public Sanitation Assistants (PSA). The process is a critical requirement aimed at facilitating the prompt payment of beneficiaries for the month of December, ensuring they are able to enjoy the Christmas festivities.
Speaking during the exercise, the YEA District Director for North Tongu advised beneficiaries to remain respectful, disciplined, and committed to their duties, emphasizing that dedication to work enhances the credibility and sustainability of the programme.
The District Director further assured beneficiaries and the youth of the district that his office remains open and accessible at all times. He reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting young people and providing assistance in diverse ways to promote employment and personal development.
The validation exercise was successfully completed and is expected to pave the way for timely disbursement of December allowances to all validated beneficiaries.
