C/R: 29-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed by Benz and Tipper Truck at Kasoa

A yet-to-be-identified young man, believed to be 29 years old, has tragically lost his life after being run over by two vehicles at Kasoa on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the tail end of the Kasoa overpass. According to reports, a Benz vehicle with registration number GT 7860 C was the first to hit the pedestrian while he was attempting to cross the highway. Moments later, a tipper truck, which was reportedly moving at high speed from the overpass, ran over his legs.

Eyewitnesses claim the deceased did not use the designated pedestrian crossing, a factor some believe contributed to the tragic accident.

Police have since conveyed the body to the morgue and are awaiting family members to come forward to formally identify him. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
