Ghanaian presidential candidate Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as "The Man Behind the Mask," has pledged to mediate the long-standing dispute between Otumfuo Osei Tutu and the Dormaahene as part of his campaign promises. Running on the ticket of the New Force Political Party, Bediako’s efforts to garner support for the December 7 elections recently took him to the Dormaa in the Bono Region, where he paid a courtesy visit to the Dormaahene.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Bediako, also known as Cheddar, addressed the Dormaahene and other chiefs, expressing his concerns over the tensions between the two influential leaders. He vowed to work tirelessly to foster peace, adding dramatically that he would be willing to face the ultimate consequence if he failed in this endeavor, declaring, “Should I fail to unite the two powerful kings, my head should be cut off.”

With this bold promise, Cheddar seeks to position himself as a unifying figure and hopes to gain the trust of voters who desire stability and harmony among Ghana’s traditional leaders.
