How to Check 2025 SHS School Placements for Free – A Step-by-Step Guide

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the official release of the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.

In a directive signed by the Acting Deputy Director-General (Q & A), Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, the Service instructed Regional Directors of Education to notify District Directors and Heads of Schools of the release.

GES emphasized that all admissions must strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. Schools have been cautioned against admitting students outside the official placement without prior written approval from the Service.

Students who have secured placement are expected to report to their respective schools on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Heads of schools have been tasked to ensure smooth registration processes in accordance with the guidelines provided.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can check your SHS/TVET placement results for free:

1. Visit the Official CSSPS Portal: Go to the official CSSPS website via either https://www.cssps.gov.gh/hub/login

2. Enter Your BECE Index Number: You’ll need to enter your 10-digit BECE index number followed by “25” (the year of completion). Example: If your index number is 1234567890, you’ll input 123456789025 and your date of birth.

3. Submit Your Information: After entering your index number, click on “Sign In” and wait for the system to display your placement result.
