If you love Akua Donkor, this is not the time to show the love by voting for her - EC

Dr. Bossman Asare, the Deputy Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, has advised supporters of Madam Akua Donkor, leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), to reconsider voting for her in the upcoming elections.

Speaking with the press on the disqualification of Joana Gyan, another presidential candidate, Dr. Asare made a pointed remark about Akua Donkor’s candidacy.

"If you love Madam Akua Donkor, this is not the time to show the love by voting for her," Dr. Asare said.

His comments came in the context of recent controversies surrounding the eligibility of certain candidates, including Joana Gyan, who was disqualified by the Electoral Commission due to issues with her nomination papers.
